Outreach Opportunities
CELL PHONE & PDA COLLECTION

Starting in February we will be collecting used cell phones & PDA's for CASA. CASA stands for "Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children."  The money earned from the collection will be used to train the volunteers who do this important work.  A box will be in Friendship Hall for your donations.

Family Choice Needs

Liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish soap, shampoo, all-purpose household cleaner is being collected for Family Service.  Plastic bags and empty water bottles are being collected in Friendship Hall for the Family Choice Pantry.

Global Ministries Child Sponsorship

The Sunday School classes support a Tibetan Refugee child through the Global Ministries Child Sponsorship Program of the Wider Church Ministries, United Church of Christ. The children have fund-raising projects such as snack sales to help support this program. The children exchange letters. This allows our children to learn about the world through a child's eyes.

Special Projects

Special projects include making Personal Health Kits and Cleanup Kits for the Ohio Conference Disaster Response. New Clothing items & toys are collected for Camp Washington, Cincinnati, Ohio and Hope Totes for Middletown's homeless.

Crossroad

The "Birthday" offering envelope is designated for CROSSROAD, a not- for-profit treatment facility in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, that helps emotionally troubled youth and their families. Box Tops for Education and Campbell Soup Bar Codes for Education are also collected for CROSSROAD.
