Christian Education classes will resume in September for children and youth at 9:15 a.m. . There are 2 classes for children - Preschool - 5th. grade and grades 6 and up..

There are2 Sunday School Classes for adults. They meet in the parlor and in the library. The curriculum for the classes follows the common lectionary.
10:15 a.m. Worship.
Lift to the Sanctuary. Child care is provided for children birth to Kindergarten.

Communion is the first Sunday of every month.

ST. PAUL’S PURPOSE & WELCOME STATEMENT

We the members of St. Paul’s UCC of Middletown, Ohio, believe that all people are created in God’s image and thus are loved and blessed equally by God.

We seek God’s will for today through an inner spiritual journey and an outer journey of engagement in community life.

Our faith leads us to welcome all persons, including those of all races, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, family structures, faith backgrounds, abilities and economic circumstances, into the full life and ministries of this church.

We welcome and encourage all to share in the life, leadership, ministry, fellowship, worship, sacraments, responsibilities and blessings of participation in our congregation.

CHOIR - Rehearsal will resume in September on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
We welcome anyone who would like to join us - even those who say: "I can't sing!" Yes - we want you because together we become a choir. The choir loft always has room for more voices and there are robes of all sizes. Marsha Minge is the choir director.

MONDAY MORNING BOOK GROUP will be held at 10:30 a.m. the first and third Mondays of the month. This group reads and discusses contemporary writings. Everyone who enjoys the stimulating exchange of ideas on how to apply the messages of the Bible today is invited to join. .

CRAFTS & PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: We will meet from 6:30 - 8 p.m on the fourth Tuesday of the month to work on various crafts and a Prayer Shawl Ministry. For more info about the Prayer Shawl Ministry check out the website: www.lionbrand.com/shawlstories. If you don't knit or crochet, you are welcome to bring any craft you would like to work on such as scrapbooking, beading, etc. Call the church office and let us know you will be attending. This is open to the community.

THE WOMEN'S GUILD meets the first Thursday of the month at Noon except January and February, July & August. The next meeting is March 1. There is always a program after lunch to amuse, entertain or provide information of interest. The group contributes to community charities and enjoys Christian fellowship. Other activities and worship events vary with seasons of the church year. We are open to forming new groups as needed or requested.
